Requirements

Alien Blaster uses SDL.
"SDL Library" (1.2.7 tested) and "SDL Mixer Library" (1.2.5 tested) must be installed.

alienBlasterWin-v110.exe: (5.7MB) self-executable installer - includes binary for Win32, gamedata and SDL dlls

alienblaster-1.1.0.tgz: (6.3MB) includes sources and gamedata

Experimental stuff

Brave users may be interested in this: heavyFighter.zip: a new set of images for the heavy fighter...
Maybe Alienblaster will take more steps in that direction, for now it is a certain contrast compared to the other graphics.
Installation: simply copy the .bmp-files into your alienblaster/images directory. They overwrite the previous ones. If you wonder what that creepy .xcf-file is, have a look at the GIMP (www.gimp.org). The shield still needs some polishing, if anyone comes up with a better one (or better graphics in general) - mail them!
